The role
We are searching for a Junior Full-stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position, with a preference for candidates located in the Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, or Austin regions. If you are a self-driven developer who enjoys creating secure, scalable products that users love, we want to hear from you.
Core responsibilities
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design and testing to ongoing maintenance of our frontend and backend systems.
- Develop high-quality, performant code that meets our standards for security and scalability.
- Work closely with our product managers, designers, and operations teams to ship impactful features and support the overall technical growth of our group.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally with a background in shipping SaaS products or internet services.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Practical experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node.js, or Django.
- Hands-on experience working with AWS and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment that values quick iterations.
Compensation and benefits
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $160,000. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a hybrid work arrangement to provide our team with flexibility.
