Full Stack Software Engineer at Vanna Health

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help us build the tools that make this vital work possible.

What you'll be doing

• You will contribute to the development of Vanna Connect, our internal platform that empowers our care teams to improve the well-being of the individuals we serve.
• You will work across our entire stack, balancing frontend and backend tasks to ship impactful features while maintaining a high standard for code quality and automated testing.
• You will collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and clinical staff to ensure our technology effectively supports the human side of our care mission.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with at least five years of engineering experience who has a proven history of shipping high-quality products. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment where clear, empathetic communication is essential. Your technical background should include:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including a deep understanding of interfaces and generics.
• Experience building modern user interfaces with React, Vite, and Tailwind.
• Backend expertise using Node, Fastify, and Postgres.
• A pragmatic approach to technology, where you prioritize trade-offs and project outcomes over dogmatic tool choices.
• A self-starting mindset that allows you to thrive in ambiguous environments by gathering requirements and driving projects to completion.
• Bonus points if you have experience with HIPAA compliance or the FHIR standard for healthcare data.

What you'll get
