We are Spekit, a team dedicated to reinventing workplace learning by embedding training directly into the tools and workflows employees use every day. With over $60 million in venture funding and a global presence, we are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our mission-driven team and help us scale our platform for innovative companies like Uber Freight, Snowflake, and Udemy.
Responsibilities
- Build and test features end-to-end while maintaining high standards of technical excellence.
- Collaborate on architectural design, address technical debt, and improve our overall development processes.
- Support production systems and ensure the stability of our core product building blocks.
- Work closely with a diverse, global team to solve complex problems and deliver a seamless user experience.
- Communicate technical visions and execute them through incremental, iterative development.
Must-haves
- 3 to 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including Django, Django-Rest, and Dramatiq.
- Experience working with React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
- A test-first mindset with proven experience writing unit tests for both Django and React applications.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and systems design.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building browser extensions and managing DOM manipulation.
- Familiarity with monorepo tooling and design systems.
- Experience with automated acceptance testing.
