Full-Stack Software Engineer at Peoplegrove

At PeopleGrove, we provide a powerful cloud-based platform that helps universities, corporations, and nonprofit organizations facilitate meaningful mentoring and networking connections. We are currently looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Software Engineer based in India to join our dedicated engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work across our entire product stack to develop new features, refine our existing tools, and strengthen our technical operations. Because our team is small, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of technical initiatives and help shape the future of our platform.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate with our product team to design and implement features that enhance the overall user experience.
• Refine existing product features and develop tools that simplify the implementation process for our clients.
• Strengthen our technical architecture and build out a robust continuous integration pipeline.
• Modernize our front-end interfaces using contemporary frameworks.
• Participate in a broad range of technical tasks, as our lean team environment requires versatility and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• You have 2 to 3 years of professional experience working as a full-stack engineer.
• You possess at least 1 year of experience building web applications for end users.
• You enjoy the full development lifecycle and take pride in seeing a feature through from initial concept to completion.
• You are a self-starter who is eager to share your opinions and help influence our engineering decisions and best practices.
• You have a strong eye for design and care about the visual quality of the product.
• You are passionate about our mission to support students and improve outcomes within the education sector.
• You are proficient in English and are looking for a full-time, permanent position.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with our core technology stack, which includes NodeJS, Sails.js, React.js, Redux, Redux-Saga, Kubernetes, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• While prior experience with these specific tools is helpful, we welcome applications from skilled candidates who are quick to learn and adapt to new technologies.
