What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our product engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will help build the applications that our customers interact with every day. You will be a key contributor in creating the seamless, reliable digital experiences that have defined our brand since we started.
What will you do?
- Lead small-to-medium scale initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teammates to ship high-quality software through iterative development.
- Collaborate closely with our Product and Design teams to craft intuitive interfaces that guide our users through their saving and investing journeys.
- Maintain high standards of excellence by writing clean, efficient code and performing rigorous testing to ensure our customers have the best possible experience.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a skilled engineer who is passionate about financial wellness and solving complex problems. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming, with a strong preference for Ruby on Rails and familiarity with languages like Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
- Proven experience developing frontend applications using React.js or similar modern frameworks.
- Proficiency in building APIs, with an advantage if you have experience using GraphQL.
- Strong skills in SQL and relational database design.
- A solid command of fundamental data structures and algorithms.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn new technologies.
