We are looking for a dedicated, India-based Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At PeopleGrove, we provide a cloud-based platform that empowers universities, nonprofits, and companies to foster meaningful networking and mentoring connections, and we are excited to have you help us scale our impact.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our product team to design and implement new features that enhance the user experience.
- Refine existing functionality and develop tools to streamline how we handle client implementations.
- Strengthen our technical architecture by building out robust continuous integration pipelines.
- Lead the modernization of our front-end interfaces using contemporary frameworks.
- Participate in a wide range of technical initiatives, as our small team environment offers exposure to every aspect of our stack.
Must-haves
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional experience working as a full-stack engineer.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience specifically focused on building consumer-facing web applications.
- A passion for end-to-end development, from initial concept to final feature delivery.
- A self-starting mindset with a desire to contribute your own opinions to our engineering practices.
- A strong eye for design and a commitment to creating visually appealing products.
- A genuine interest in our mission to support student success through education technology.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience working with our current tech stack, which includes NodeJS, Sails.JS, React.js, Redux, Redux-Saga, Kubernetes, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
