Full Stack Software Engineer at Spekit

With over $60 million in venture funding and a client list that includes industry leaders like Uber Freight, Snowflake, and Udemy, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team and help us build the future of digital enablement.

Responsibilities

• Build and test features from end to end while maintaining high standards of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with our global team on architectural design, technical debt management, and overall development processes.
• Focus on solidifying core product building blocks to make Spekit an essential part of the daily user experience.
• Support systems in production and proactively identify root causes for bugs.
• Communicate a clear technical vision and execute on it through incremental, iterative development.
• Engage in code reviews and discussions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Must-haves

• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency with Python, including Django, Django-Rest, and Dramatiq.
• Hands-on experience with React, PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
• A test-first mindset with experience writing unit tests for both backend and frontend applications.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and systems design.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building browser extensions.
• Knowledge of DOM manipulation and design systems.
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling and automated acceptance testing.
