Full Stack Software Engineer at Vant AI, Inc.

We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At VantAI, we merge advanced machine learning with deep systems biology to create computational models that reveal the connections between diseases, targets, and molecules. Our platform is a leader in the field, helping biopharma partners accelerate the discovery of small-molecule drugs and biologics by modeling complex protein interactions. We need engineers who are eager to tackle scientific challenges across physics, chemistry, and data science to help us advance our mission in AI-enabled drug discovery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain large-scale scientific workflows that support our research teams and automate manual processes to improve overall efficiency.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure for machine learning inference, chemical databases, and high-performance simulation analysis.
• Collaborate across our entire technical stack, including Python, Go, Rust, and React, to develop tools that facilitate virtual screening and protein docking.

Requirements

• Extensive experience working within complex codebases and designing cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in managing container orchestration with Kubernetes and developing automated IAM policies.
• Strong background in data architecture and engineering, specifically regarding the support of large-scale computational environments.
• A high level of independence and a sense of ownership, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative mindset that balances offering strong technical opinions with a willingness to compromise for the good of the project.
• Desired but not required: Prior experience with cheminformatics algorithms or professional work within the drug discovery industry.

What we offer

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $190,000 USD. We view this range as a reflection of the role as currently defined.
