Our team brings together over 20 years of experience building robotics and vehicle software for organizations like NASA, the DoD, and various drone startups. We believe that powerful device software should be accessible to everyone, from university researchers to hobbyists, and we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help us build the tools that make this possible.

What you bring

As a senior member of our team, you will have the freedom to design and implement technical solutions across our entire software stack. This is a full-time, hybrid role that offers you the chance to work on meaningful projects while collaborating with a group that values hands-on building. You can be based anywhere, though we prefer candidates who live near our office in Oakland, California.

• Design and implement robust technical solutions across our full software stack.
• Develop and support AWS architectures, including both traditional and serverless workflows.
• Build production-grade backend services and intuitive user interfaces.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 5 to 10 years of experience who is comfortable working across multiple languages and frameworks. You should be highly proficient in TypeScript and Python, with a strong background in developing production backend services using NodeJS. We value developers who have experience creating UIs in VueJS or React. Because we work with hardware, a passion for device-level coding with tools like Arduinos, Jetsons, or Raspberry Pis is a significant plus. You must be authorized to work in the US, as we are unable to provide sponsorship.
