We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, proficiency in Java and Kotlin, and a passion for creating innovative solutions https://www.vendavo.com/our-products/deal-price-optimizer/

THE OPPORTUNITY

Develop software solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development.

Embrace an agile mindset and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Understand and apply Scrum principles in project planning and execution.

THE SKILL SET

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software development.

Extensive Java development experience.

Proficiency in Kotlin.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good English communication skills (both verbal and written).A smart and energetic personality.

Enthusiasm for software development.

Responsibility for the quality of the delivered work.

Abilities to understand new problem/business domains.

Agile mindset with an understanding of Scrum principles.

Experience with the Spring framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservice-oriented architectures.

Experience with big data processing and data engineering.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS).

Experience with DevOps/SRE practices.

Knowledge of security best practices.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.

Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript (Node.js, React, etc.) for frontend development.
