Full Stack Software Engineer at Higharc

The role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our remote-first team on a full-time basis. You will be instrumental in evolving our interactive design platform, working on everything from the core CAD engine to the sales tools used by home builders. We value engineers who prioritize pragmatic solutions and thrive on rapid iteration cycles.

Core responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end features using our primary stack, which includes React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Partner closely with our product designers, architects, and CAD experts to translate complex requirements into intuitive, powerful user experiences.
• Take ownership of critical product areas, such as our browser-based modeling tools, sales configurators, and project management systems, while mentoring junior team members to help them grow.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of developing consumer-facing web applications. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, along with demonstrated experience using our core technologies.
• The ability to shepherd new features from the initial concept phase all the way to production.
• Strong communication skills that allow you to thrive in a distributed, remote environment.
• A portfolio of work, such as a GitHub profile or personal website, that demonstrates your technical capabilities.
• A genuine enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges in the home building space.
