The opportunity

This full-time role is designed for a seasoned engineer who wants to be involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle. You will be a key player in our engineering department, helping us refine our product and push the boundaries of what we can achieve. Whether you are building new features or optimizing our existing architecture, you will be working alongside a group of passionate peers who value high-quality code and collaborative problem-solving. This is a hybrid position, giving you the flexibility to balance your time between home and our Sydney office.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement high-quality software solutions while actively participating in code reviews to ensure our standards for maintainability and design excellence remain high.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that we deliver robust features on schedule.
• You will take charge of the reliability of our platform by writing comprehensive unit and integration tests, investigating bugs, and maintaining clear technical documentation.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise and a proactive mindset to our team. You should be comfortable communicating in English and possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer, specifically with JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js on the backend, and either React or Angular on the frontend.
• Solid experience with Java and the Spring Framework, along with a strong grasp of database technologies like MongoDB.
• A deep understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional design patterns, as well as hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for Agile methodologies, TDD, and DevOps practices.
