About the Role
We are searching for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will partner with our business units to take technical ownership of our website properties and applications. This is a highly visible position that requires a self-starter who enjoys collaborating across teams to solve business challenges. While you will focus on maintaining complex web applications from a front-end perspective, you will also have the opportunity to grow your skills in backend development and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full technical ownership of our existing web properties, such as iex.io and iexexchange.io, while managing the development of new sites as business needs evolve.
- Design and build new web pages and applications by translating business requirements into functional, high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing systems while proactively communicating project timelines and technical plans to our marketing and business stakeholders.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who brings a blend of technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. You should have at least 3 years of experience in front-end software development and a strong desire to expand your capabilities into backend systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building data pipelines using Python.
- Practical knowledge of MySQL, Redis, GitHub, and working with APIs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for both design and technical implementation.
- A dedication to our core values, including a belief in transparency and fairness.
- Experience with Azure Cloud is considered a plus.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting annual base pay for this position is between $125,000 and $160,000. Actual compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including your specific work experience, transferable skills, training, and current market demands. This role is also eligible for bonus and equity compensation.
