Overview
Blitz.gg is a rapidly growing gaming startup that focuses on delivering the best gaming experience for our users. We’re looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help us scale our ability to onboard new games. This position prefers you to be on-site Monday through Thursday in our Los Angeles office, with optional WFH on Fridays. For potential remote hires, we require operating during Pacific Time Zone business hours.
Become a founding member of the SDK team! You'll join a close-knit team of two experienced full-stack engineers as we embark on building the foundation for Blitz.gg's future: a cutting-edge SDK that empowers game developers to seamlessly integrate with our platform. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of a high-impact project, shaping the very tools that will revolutionize gaming data analysis. You'll collaborate directly with game developers, engineers, and product managers, making your unique voice heard at every step. In this cross-functional role, you'll wear many hats, mastering both the technical challenges and the collaborative spirit needed to bring this groundbreaking project to life. What You’ll Do
- The majority of your time will be spent on crafting elegant and high-performing front-end experiences using React and TypeScript
- Integrate your work to the backend using Elixir, Phoenix, and Absinthe
- Collaborate with reversing engineers to transform raw data into a usable format.
What It Takes To Be Successful
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript (bonus points for Elixir, Phoenix).
- Ability to work with multiple technology stacks
- Experience with Postgres
- Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment
Nice To Have
- Functional programming experience, especially Elixir
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
- Experience with AWS and GCP
- Experience in the gaming industry
