We're building the next generation of safety software at BIS Safety Software, and we're looking for a senior full-stack developer who loves diving deep into code and solving the tough stuff. Since 2006 we've helped safety teams across industries work smarter with intuitive, reliable platforms, and we're growing fast.

Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level Full Stack Software Developer position based on-site at our Sherwood Park, Alberta office. You'll join our Technology Team and focus on complex debugging, responsive UI work, and full-stack feature development in a fast-paced environment.

Your impact

Partner with clients and stakeholders to turn requirements into clear technical specs, then write, test, and ship the code that brings those ideas to life.
Tackle high-priority issues through advanced debugging and troubleshooting, keeping our platforms stable and our users supported.
Drive long-term infrastructure projects in AWS and Azure while continuously improving interfaces and maintaining thorough code documentation.

What you'll need

You bring at least five years of professional software development experience with strong skills in React.js and at least one backend technology such as PHP, .NET, or Java. You're comfortable with HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and responsive design, and you communicate complex technical details clearly in English. A collaborative mindset, a solutions-first attitude, and the ability to thrive both independently and in an open office setting are essential. Experience with AWS or Azure and full-stack fluency are definite advantages.
