About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a mid-level role where you will contribute to building and maintaining features that our product managers and customers truly value. You will be part of a dynamic environment that prioritizes data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, ensuring that we are always growing our skills and refining our software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality product features using a TypeScript-first stack, which includes a Next.js frontend, a Node.js and Express backend, and a Postgres database, all hosted on AWS.
- Actively manage technical debt by incorporating regular maintenance into your weekly workflow and participating in dedicated periods focused on system improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our product remains seamless for customers across various integrations and software updates.
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional experience building and supporting full-stack software in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in designing REST-based web services using Node.js, TypeScript, and OpenAPI.
- Demonstrated experience in system design, including both creating new architectures and refactoring existing ones.
- A solid grasp of relational databases, including data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization through indexing.
- Experience with implementing robust test patterns for CI/CD pipelines and post-deployment verification.
