Role at a glance
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join our product engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position based in Canada. You will be working on-site, collaborating closely with a group of developers who value data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
Your impact
- You will develop high-quality product features using a modern TypeScript stack, including Next.js for the frontend and Node.js with Express and Postgres for the backend, all hosted on AWS.
- You will take ownership of code quality by actively addressing technical debt during your weekly workflow and participating in dedicated improvement phases.
- You will collaborate across teams to ensure our software remains seamless, reliable, and innovative as we integrate new features and upgrades for our users.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a collaborative spirit. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Three to five years of professional experience building and maintaining software in a production environment.
- Proficiency in designing and building REST-based web services using Node.js, TypeScript, and OpenAPI.
- Strong skills in system design, with the ability to both architect new solutions and refactor legacy code.
- Experience implementing robust testing patterns for CI/CD pipelines and post-deployment verification.
- A solid grasp of relational databases, including data modeling, normalization, and performance optimization in Postgres.
- Fluency in English.
