As a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies that increase job bookings and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our overall platform performance. You will work within a collaborative, international engineering team that values simplicity, speed, and security as we continue to power our mobile and web applications.

Key outcomes

• Design and implement secure, high-quality software solutions while continuously improving our engineering standards.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end feature development, monitoring release impacts and service level objectives to ensure scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data analysts to align technical output with our broader business objectives.
• Actively contribute to our technical roadmap, internal collectives, and the evolution of our engineering practices.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java, with additional familiarity in technologies such as JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.
• A strong background in building and scaling web applications using Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures like Kafka.
• Proven ability to work effectively within an AWS-based cloud environment.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage tasks independently.
• Strong communication skills in English and a passion for collaborating within a diverse, inclusive team environment.
