The role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead a team of developers to build out new cloud application features while optimizing and improving our existing technology. You will serve as a key technical leader, driving the vision and design of complex engineering projects while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Core responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Mentorship: You will guide, coach, and mentor your development team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with our high engineering standards.
• Technical Strategy and Planning: You will act as an architectural lead, designing scalable solutions and working closely with product owners to translate requirements into actionable technical specifications and sprint plans.
• Project Execution and Process Improvement: You will oversee project workflows using Jira, monitor task progress, and collaborate with other managers to refine our development processes, tools, and standards.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in full-stack development and a proven ability to lead technical teams. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with React web applications, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Extensive experience working with databases, specifically MySQL and SQL Server.
• Proven expertise in AWS serverless technologies, including API Gateway and Lambda.
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira for project tracking and workflow management.
• A deep understanding of browser compatibility, mobile-friendly standards, and system optimization.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously while fostering trust across cross-functional teams.
