The opportunity

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in expanding our platform’s capabilities. We operate as a scrappy, collaborative unit where the term full stack is truly meaningful. You will bridge the gap between customer-facing web features and the underlying infrastructure, working closely with Product Managers, DevOps, and firmware engineers to deliver high-impact solutions. This is an on-site role based in the United States, perfect for a pragmatic engineer who enjoys wearing many hats and taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle.

A day in the life

• You will design, implement, and deploy features across our entire stack, ensuring our systems are optimized for both speed and scale.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to diagnose complex issues and build reliable RESTful and streaming APIs that serve our customers.
• You will refine our backend analytic calculations and database queries while contributing to the architectural decisions that shape the future of our infrastructure.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience building large-scale applications. You possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your background includes:

• Proficiency with our core technology stack, including React, NextJS, NodeJS, Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, and TimescaleDB.
• A solid understanding of data modeling, normalization, and transformation pipelines.
• A degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• The ability to balance rapid prototyping with long-term architectural planning.
• Fluency in English.
