About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Vandra squad on a full-time basis. Vandra is a promising venture focused on helping e-commerce brands increase sales through AI, machine learning, and behavioral science. In this role, you will help build a web application that optimizes shopping experiences. You will work closely with data scientists and infrastructure engineers in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you will be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement web application features designed to enhance the e-commerce shopping experience for our customers.
• Engage in the entire product development process, from initial feature ideation and UX research to gathering user feedback.
• Ensure high software quality by writing automated tests and performing rigorous quality assurance to identify and resolve bugs quickly.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in modern web development and a willingness to learn new technologies as our product evolves. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript, React, and HTML/CSS.
• Basic experience with a common back-end language such as Node, Python, or Ruby.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in an environment characterized by ambiguity and rapid change.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Python and the Flask framework, SQL, SQLAlchemy, DevOps practices, or integrating with e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
