The role

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a vital role for an experienced engineer who has a proven track record of developing and shipping web applications, particularly within the fast-paced environment of a startup. You will be instrumental in building and scaling our video sharing and collaboration platform, ensuring that our technology effectively supports the critical work of surgical teams.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust video sharing web application by working across both the frontend and backend layers.
• Collaborate closely with technical leads and organizational leadership to define project deliverables and establish accurate development timelines.
• Take full ownership of features from the initial technical design phase through to implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in full-stack development and a passion for building scalable solutions. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular.
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of Python is highly beneficial.
• Experience with data security, privacy, and compliance standards is strongly preferred.
• Background in building or scaling video platforms, as well as familiarity with machine learning techniques, will be considered a significant advantage.
