We are looking for an outstanding engineer to help us push our platform to the next level. You will join us at a crucial stage of development for the product, the team and the company. Encord is growing rapidly and our platform is the key driver of that growth. You will be instrumental in pushing our platform forward as we continue to hit ambitious targets. A year ago we were 35, now we are over 70 and we are continuing to accelerate.
About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer on a full-time basis. In this position you will work across the entire technology stack to advance our data platform that helps leading organizations build production-grade machine learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects, guiding decisions from product requirements and design through architecture, deployment, monitoring and impact measurement.
- Build and maintain reliable, high-performance systems that handle hundreds of millions of images and videos while keeping interfaces simple and intuitive.
- Collaborate closely with teammates on complex challenges, offering support and sharing knowledge to keep the whole team moving quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience designing, building and maintaining multiple production systems from the ground up.
- Strong proficiency across the full stack, including front-end interfaces, back-end services, deployment pipelines and monitoring tools.
- Proven ability to deliver high-impact work in fast-moving environments where requirements are still taking shape.
- Comfort working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative, high-trust team.
- Fluency in English.
Location
This role is based in the United Kingdom and follows a hybrid work arrangement.
