We are GiddyUp, an end-to-end DTC commercialization platform dedicated to helping the best products reach shoppers worldwide. By disrupting the traditional growth model, we have democratized commercialization through our proprietary performance commerce platform, which has already generated over $1 billion in sales. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be a key member of our web design team, bridging the gap between creative vision and technical execution to build lightning-fast, interactive web applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production, modification, and maintenance of user interfaces by translating creative designs into functional, high-performance websites using JavaScript, HTML5, and Vue.js.
- Collaborate closely with our development team to implement server-side code within our PHP-based backend, ensuring seamless integration for complex, database-driven content.
- Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, including performing code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring developers on new frameworks to support our growing ecosystem.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, supported by a strong portfolio of your previous web design work.
- Deep technical proficiency with modern development tools and practices, including REST API design, SASS, GitHub, and Terraform for deployment pipelines.
- A solid understanding of the entire web development process, including layout aesthetics, relational database design, and test-driven development.
- Experience working with PHP frameworks like YII or Laravel and familiarity with content management systems is highly preferred.
