Full Stack Engineer at Flourish

Since 2017, Flourish has been dedicated to helping financial advisors transition from offering holistic advice to providing holistic implementation. We support over 900 independent Registered Investment Advisors who manage more than $1.6 trillion in assets. By combining the agility of a startup with the stability of our parent company, MassMutual, we build beautiful and scalable technology that gives advisors access to financial products that were previously out of reach. What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site position where you will play a vital role in building a scalable platform that helps financial advisors secure their clients' futures. You will be an integral part of our engineering team, working across our entire tech stack to deliver high-quality solutions for our users.

What will you do?

• Partner with product managers and fellow engineers to solve complex business challenges by developing commercially feasible software solutions.
• Take ideas from the initial whiteboard phase to reality by contributing to architectural decisions and building new services or features.
• Collaborate across the organization with teams including Product, Design, Operations, and Risk to ensure our platform remains intuitive and performant.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems.
• A solid understanding of modern database technologies like Postgres and Redis.
• The ability to create performant and intuitive RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

We believe in providing fair and equitable compensation for all our team members. The base salary range for this position is $148,300 - $194,600, and this role also includes bonus and incentive opportunities.
