We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Canada, specifically based in British Columbia, to help us continue improving the world of work.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions, focusing on performance and modern best practices while working on both the front end and the back end.
- You will collaborate with our integrations team to build connections between Deputy and various partners, including payroll, POS, and HR systems, while working on initiatives like our embedded payroll product.
- You will ensure the reliability of our platform by writing comprehensive automated tests and proactively addressing security and performance challenges.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building people-first solutions and has at least 3 years of relevant experience. You should have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures. Your technical toolkit should include the following:
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for building responsive, reusable components.
- Experience working with backend technologies, specifically PHP or Golang.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
- A deep understanding of how to work with APIs and integrate complex microservices.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English while engaging in technical discussions and code reviews.
