Full Stack Engineer at Locus Robotics

What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join us on a Full Time basis. In this remote role you will work from anywhere in England, Scotland, Spain, Poland, or Portugal, contributing to both the user-facing interfaces and the backend services that power our next-generation Robot and Warehouse Execution System. Your day-to-day work will revolve around the tags Engineering, Robotics, SQL, C#, .NET, and React.js.

• Design and review software architecture while helping define the technical direction of our products.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and automated unit tests for our cloud-based and self-hosted SaaS offerings.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team to deliver incremental features, mentor junior engineers, and resolve customer issues quickly.

Location: Remote – must be based in England, Scotland, Spain, Poland, or Portugal.

Requirements

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field and bring at least five years of hands-on software development experience with SQL, C#, and .NET, along with strong object-oriented design skills. You are comfortable building REST-first APIs, crafting responsive interfaces with React.js (or similar frameworks), and architecting multi-threaded, microservices-based applications that run reliably in production. Experience with agile and Scrum practices, test-driven development, and relational or NoSQL databases is essential. Clear, professional English-both written and spoken-is required for seamless collaboration across teams. Any background in warehouse execution systems, cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, or additional languages like Java, Go, Python, or Rust is viewed as a valuable plus.
