The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our ambitious, fast-paced team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a central figure in shaping the future of eCommerce in Australia and New Zealand. You will have significant ownership and autonomy, with very little red tape standing in your way. By joining us, you become an intrepreneur, playing a hands-on role in our technical strategy while working on software that directly impacts the daily lives of our massive user base.

A day in the life

• You will engage in hands-on development, delivering new features and functionality while providing essential support to resolve bugs.
• You will collaborate with our team to architect and deliver complex, scalable systems, ensuring we maintain best practices in monitoring, algorithm design, and software quality.
• You will manage the entire development lifecycle, from technical design and testing to experimentation and launching updates into production.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer who thrives in dynamic, Agile environments. You communicate effectively in English and bring a high level of accountability to everything you build. Your background includes:

• Proficiency in Python/Django or React, with a genuine passion for full-stack development.
• A strong commitment to clean code, robust testing, and thoughtful software design patterns.
• Experience working within a mature AWS infrastructure to support high-volume traffic.
• A proactive mindset that sees projects through from initial idea generation to post-launch performance monitoring.
• The ability to break down complex objectives into small, valuable deliverables that can be shipped to production iteratively.
