About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will design, implement, and refine digital products that make healthcare benefits more accessible and understandable for those who need them most. You will be a key contributor to our engineering efforts, working on features that have a direct, positive impact on everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a high-performing, nimble engineering team to build innovative features through efficient, respectful development ceremonies.
• Ensure the safety and reliability of our systems by participating in a healthy production culture, which includes balanced on-call rotations and continuous delivery during standard working hours.
• Take ownership of your work by learning from your peers, mentoring others, and contributing to a codebase that prioritizes quality through supportive peer reviews and efficient testing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical background.
• Strong proficiency in typed languages, such as Golang, and experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Solid understanding of data structures and standard database technologies, particularly Postgres.
• Proven ability to support live sites, including effective logging, monitoring, and dashboard creation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present your work clearly and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

Location

This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. While we are a distributed team, please be prepared for occasional travel for company events and business needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $181,000, along with a discretionary bonus and equity. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
