Artera is a pioneering AI startup dedicated to transforming cancer care through advanced medical artificial intelligence. We create personalized therapy tests that empower physicians and patients to make informed, data-driven treatment decisions on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity to help us expand our reach into new cancer areas and international markets.
Key outcomes
- Design and build the front-end and back-end architecture for our distribution platforms, which leverage AI to provide critical clinical decision support to oncologists.
- Collaborate directly with our product, AI, and clinical development teams to translate stakeholder needs into robust, user-friendly platform features.
- Maintain a high standard of excellence by conducting thorough code reviews and ensuring our codebase remains scalable, testable, and easy to maintain.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with Python and React.
- Strong technical proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Proven experience building web applications using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- A growth-oriented mindset and a strong sense of personal ownership over your work.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis.
- Prior experience working with sensitive health care data.
- Knowledge of Flutter or a willingness to learn the basics.
- Residency in the Eastern or Central time zone.
