Genova Technologies has an immediate opening for a Full-stack Developer for an exciting, long-term project in Cedar Rapids, IA.
What will you do?
This developer will assist in the development and implementation of User Interfaces and Cloud service connections for a mobile application which integrates with an embedded laundry machine. This position requires work to be completed at our Cedar Rapids, IA office. Multiple positions are available based on experience level.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Working as a developer within an Agile/Scrum team.
· Collaborating with the development team to implement software solutions for User Stories.
· Testing software developed by other team members.
· Supporting the design team by providing feedback on software-related concerns.
What do you need?
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
· 4-year degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Some experience with front-end languages such as Angular/Typescript.
· Some experience using Python/Django.
· Experience working within existing MySQL databases.
Skills we consider a plus include:
· Experience with mobile development languages for Android/iOS (particularly, Kotlin or Swift).
· Experience with database design within MySQL.
· Experience with software testing documentation and implementation.
· Experience with AWS.
· Experience integrating Stripe into applications.
