At SKULabs, we have been building the operating system for ecommerce since 2014. We empower rapidly growing brands to manage their inventory, fulfillment, and purchasing with ease. By processing millions of orders for thousands of customers, we provide the robust infrastructure that market-leading sellers and publicly traded companies rely on to scale. Our mission is to eliminate the need for customer support through intuitive design, sensible defaults, and a powerful rules engine that makes complex operations feel simple.
The role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our headquarters in Coral Springs, Florida. This is a mid-level position for someone who thrives on taking ownership of features from the initial concept to the final deployment. You will be working alongside serial founders and experienced engineers who have scaled multiple SaaS products and built successful brands. We value code quality and developer usability above all else, ensuring that you have the environment needed to build high-impact software.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and translate feedback into meaningful product improvements.
- Develop and maintain full-stack features, including building new APIs, integrating existing ones, and crafting interfaces within our component framework.
- Monitor platform performance and user feedback to iterate on our inventory application and Pro platform, contributing to projects like our new Liquid-based templating engine and generative AI integrations.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in modern web development and a passion for building scalable systems. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in JavaScript application development.
- Proven experience working with jQuery and building complex interfaces using Bootstrap.
- Deep understanding of the Node.js ecosystem, including Express, Axios, and modern ECMAScript features.
- Experience managing and maintaining applications that handle large datasets with in-memory joins.
- A strong focus on user experience and the ability to design professional, highly usable interfaces.
- Familiarity with our core stack, including React, NextJS, NestJS, MongoDB, and DocumentDB, is highly valued.
Compensation and benefits
We are committed to supporting our team members both inside and outside of the office. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
- A dedicated home office budget to ensure your workspace is comfortable.
- A learning budget to support your continued professional development.
- Access to our recently remodeled office space, which features a gym, basketball court, and pickleball.
- A company-provided laptop and a performance-based bonus structure.
