Since 2014, SKULabs has served as the operating system for the ecommerce world. We help thousands of rapidly growing brands manage their fulfillment, inventory, and purchasing operations. By providing intuitive tools that sync across major platforms, we ensure that businesses processing over 1,000 orders a month can scale with ease. We are looking for a new team member to join our headquarters in Coral Springs, Florida, to help us continue building the robust systems our customers rely on every day.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is an opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of features from the initial concept through to the final release. You will be working directly with our experienced team to maintain high standards for code quality and user experience while helping us scale our platform to support even more complex operations.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to define project requirements and translate them into functional, high-quality features.
- Develop and maintain both new and existing APIs while building intuitive user interfaces within our component framework.
- Actively participate in code reviews and incorporate direct feedback from our customers and internal account management teams to continuously improve our software.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working across our entire stack, which includes React, NextJS, NestJS, and DocumentDB for our newer applications, as well as JavaScript, Bootstrap, Express, and MongoDB for our Pro platform. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in JavaScript application development.
- Proven experience working with jQuery and building complex interfaces using Bootstrap.
- A deep understanding of modern development practices, including Axios, Express, async generators, and Node.js streams.
- Experience building and maintaining applications that handle large datasets and in-memory joins.
- A strong focus on user experience and the ability to make technical decisions that provide clear direction for the product.
What's in it for you?
We value our team members and offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health and professional growth. Working from our recently remodeled office in Coral Springs, you will have access to a gym, basketball court, and pickleball facilities. Our benefits include:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Life and long-term disability insurance.
- A competitive bonus structure.
- Flexible time off (FTO) to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- A dedicated home office budget and a learning budget for your continued education.
- A company-provided laptop to ensure you have the tools you need to succeed.
