The opportunity
We are looking for a senior full stack developer who will help shape the next generation of our risk-management products. In this role you will design and deliver features that directly affect how thousands of businesses protect their workers and operations every day. Your work will sit at the heart of our engineering practice, influencing architecture decisions, mentoring teammates, and ensuring the code we ship is secure, scalable, and easy to evolve.
A day in the life
- Partnering with product managers and fellow engineers to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, then turning those requirements into clean, well-tested code using TypeScript, C#, and .NET.
- Reviewing pull requests, troubleshooting production issues, and continuously refactoring services so our platform stays fast and reliable as our customer base expands.
- Documenting key decisions, sharing knowledge in team sessions, and exploring new tools or patterns that can improve the way we build software.
Who you are
You bring at least five years of hands-on experience building full-stack applications and feel confident across both front-end and back-end stacks. You have shipped production systems with TypeScript frameworks such as Angular or React, C#, .NET 7, Web API, gRPC, Entity Framework Core, message queues, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is a plus, and you are comfortable applying architectural patterns like MVC, microservices, or clean architecture. You understand REST and RPC API design, enjoy working in Agile teams, and hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline. Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication round out your profile, and you must be based in Australia with the right to work here without restrictions.
