Full Stack Developer Java at Blanc-labs

We are currently looking for a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will implement and support scalable cloud applications that drive real business value for our customers. You will work within a collaborative, agile environment to translate complex business requirements into high-quality code.

Key outcomes

• Design and build cloud-native web applications that remain secure, responsive, and scalable.
• Maintain exceptional code quality by automating unit tests to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate with the development team during code reviews to evaluate software logic and design patterns.
• Lead the initial development of new software solutions or perform significant revisions to existing code bases.
• Create thorough technical documentation and detailed specifications.
• Proactively suggest improvements for existing software programs and internal development processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess at least two years of relevant development experience. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following skills:

• Proficiency in creating microservices using Java 8 and Spring Boot, including modules like Spring Data, Security, or Cloud.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Ability to write unit tests using JUnit alongside mock frameworks such as Mockito or PowerMock.
• Strong web development skills using Angular (version 10 or higher).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and Bootstrap.
• Experience with JavaScript package management via npm.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or Oracle, including the ability to manage DDL and DML statements.
• Cloud development experience specifically within the Azure ecosystem.
• Competency in managing images and service containers using Docker.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Proficiency in distributed version control systems, such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working within the FinTech industry.
• Practical knowledge of Node.js.
• Experience working with Mulesoft.
