Full-Stack Crypto Software Engineer at Curio Research

We are Curio, a studio founded in 2021 that creates cutting-edge crypto games and infrastructure. Our team includes veterans from major titles like Genshin Impact and Halo, and we have secured over 8 million dollars in funding from top investors to help us build the ultimate fan-powered competition platform for our upcoming high-stakes strategy game, Duper.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a significant portion of the Duper game platform, spanning both our web interface and on-chain components.
• Develop high-quality user interfaces, robust backends, data pipelines, and indexers to support a seamless, scalable gaming experience.
• Collaborate with a team of high-performing engineers to push the product forward.
• Maintain a scrappy and high-agency mindset to tackle any challenges necessary to drive our product roadmap.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of experience or deep expertise in full-stack development, specifically using React, NodeJS, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Proven ability to design scalable APIs and experience working with Redis, Kafka, and AWS.
• Practical knowledge of the crypto development stack, including Solidity, Foundry, and wagmi.
• A strong passion for the crypto ecosystem, including staying current with the latest scaling solutions, infrastructure trends, and industry narratives.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Golang or other low-level programming languages.
• Experience with distributed systems and a deep understanding of how blockchains function under the hood.
• A history of open-source contributions or experience building frameworks.
• Product-focused design skills and proficiency with Figma.
• Ability to work from the Bay Area and commute to our San Francisco office at least three times per week.
