Since our founding in 2017, we have grown to support over 200,000 members and manage more than $1.3 billion in funds, and we are looking for a mid-level Frontend Software Engineer to help us continue this journey.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive interfaces for our web and mobile investment platforms.
- Collaborate within a modern tech stack to prioritize high-quality user interactions and developer experience.
- Focus on performance, reusable design patterns, and robust state management.
- Maintain a high standard of code quality through comprehensive testing and design systems.
- Drive product growth by iterating quickly on new features and delivering reliable software.
Must-haves
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in a product-focused frontend role.
- Professional proficiency in TypeScript, React, and React Native.
- Strong command of CSS-in-JS libraries and design systems like Styled Components, Emotion, or TailwindCSS.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as React Testing Library, Jest, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, specifically using Github Actions.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work in a hybrid environment within Australia.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building NextJS websites integrated with headless CMS platforms like Prismic or Contentful.
- Expertise in data fetching and state management using tools like Apollo, React Query, or SWR.
- Background in managing monorepos or maintaining npm packages.
- A strong interest in the fintech sector and a proactive, agile startup mindset.
