What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Frontend QA Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in India, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our frontend UI delivers a seamless and high-quality experience. You will be responsible for testing new features, such as our SQL Editor and Query Visualizer, while ensuring our platform remains accessible and performant across different browsers.
What will you do?
- Collaborate closely with our UI development and product management teams to ensure we deliver high-quality features efficiently.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for UI features while ensuring every release conforms to product requirements and UX designs.
- Build and maintain end-to-end automation using the Playwright framework to ensure our platform functions perfectly for every user.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid background in software engineering and a passion for quality. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Five to seven years of experience working with UI automation tools and frameworks, specifically JavaScript, React, and Playwright.
- Strong proficiency in an enterprise-scale programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or C#.
- A deep understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines to ensure our interface is inclusive for all users.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines and testing SaaS-based cloud deployment models.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English.
