Our culture is rooted in values like trust, excellence, and teamwork, and we are currently looking for a Frontend Manager to join our team in France on a full-time, hybrid basis.
Key outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of frontend developers to ensure high standards of project delivery and technical excellence.
- Define and execute the technical strategy for frontend development, ensuring our architecture remains scalable and aligned with business goals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support the career development of team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Establish departmental goals and KPIs while tracking performance to drive operational efficiency.
- Oversee code quality through regular reviews and establish best practices across the engineering team.
- Manage the technical roadmap, addressing technical debt while planning for future innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align frontend initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
- Act as a technical reference for the team, resolving complex problems and identifying subject matter experts within the group.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in React development.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in people management and team leadership.
- Deep proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including TypeScript, Jest, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and Webpack.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and code analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A structured, proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with TanStack or similar modern frontend architectural tools.
- A demonstrated history of leading workshops and fostering innovation within a development team.
