The role
We are hiring a Frontend Engineer to join us full-time at the mid-level. The position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with backend, product, and design colleagues to build and ship Clerkie Fiber, our new CRM platform for the debt industry.
- Write production code in TypeScript using Next.js to deliver reliable, maintainable features.
- Design clean, accessible interfaces with Tailwind CSS that balance visual appeal and ease of use.
Skills and experience
You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or you bring equivalent hands-on experience. You have at least two years of professional work with React.js, along with strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and a genuine interest in creating intuitive user experiences. You are comfortable setting your own priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering results with minimal oversight. Because we are a U.S.-based company, you must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Leadership, clear communication, and collaborative skills are highly valued. Experience designing RESTful APIs or working on financial applications is a plus, as is enthusiasm for joining a small team where priorities shift quickly and learning never stops.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $150,000, and equity is included. Additional benefits include a 401(k) retirement plan, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, the freedom of fully remote work, and an annual company retreat at a destination location.
