Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from anywhere in the world. You will be instrumental in maintaining the technical backbone that allows our products to reach millions of developers every month.
Your impact
- Manage core infrastructure by overseeing dependencies, analytics, TypeScript modules, and hosting to keep our product teams moving fast.
- Drive technical consensus by establishing best practices and common utilities that streamline workflows across our various repositories.
- Tackle complex challenges by proactively identifying technical debt and implementing scalable solutions that enhance our library performance and documentation.
What you'll need
We value problem solvers who are eager to learn and have a sharp eye for detail. You should be comfortable working in a highly transparent, asynchronous environment where written communication is key.
- Deep expertise in the modern JavaScript ecosystem, including TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, Webpack, and Babel.
- Proven experience building and shipping high-quality, tested production code within a team setting.
- A strong background in infrastructure-related work, such as setting up CI pipelines or developing custom build tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a readiness to both ask for help and support your teammates.
- A track record of breaking down large tasks into manageable, well-defined milestones.
- Fluency in English.
