Frontend Engineer at One Impression

One Impression is a global leader in influencer marketing, connecting over 300 major brands like Amazon, Unilever, and Nykaa with a network of 6.5 million creators. We operate in 12 countries and are on a mission to capture 25 percent of the global media ad spend by building the world's definitive influencer platform. We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis to help us scale our technology as we aim for 10x growth.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-quality frontend solutions for both web using React.js and mobile platforms using React Native.
• Create and maintain reusable components, common libraries, and config-driven systems to improve development efficiency.
• Collaborate directly with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Take ownership of mobile application development, focusing on modular, scalable, and high-performance code.
• Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines for web environments and mobile app stores.
• Implement robust state management strategies using tools like Redux, Redux Saga, or similar libraries.
• Handle complex mobile integrations, including push notifications, deep linking, and native modules.
• Ensure consistent performance and responsiveness across various web browsers and mobile devices.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, tech talks, and the broader engineering culture.

Must-haves

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js and React Native.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend design patterns.
• Proven experience with bundlers such as Webpack, Rollup, and Metro.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows for mobile (Fastlane) and web (Docker, Vercel, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in performance optimization techniques for both web and mobile applications.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Redux Saga, MobX, or Recoil.
• Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles, including animations and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Cypress.
• Excellent debugging skills using tools like Chrome DevTools, Flipper, and Xcode.
• Professional proficiency in English.
