We are a profitable, bootstrapped company with a diverse, fully remote team of over 100 people across 15 countries, and we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build high-quality tools for the philanthropic ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features that impact millions of users.
- Design efficient, high-impact technical solutions.
- Prioritize clean, well-tested code and perform regular refactoring to ensure long-term system health.
- Focus on componentization and code reusability.
- Champion continuous integration practices and thorough pull request reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Provide technical support to our agents and deploy critical bug fixes as needed.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience with vanilla JavaScript.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
- Strong understanding of mobile responsiveness and style consistency.
- Intermediate SQL skills and experience with Postgres.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small, distributed team.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- A preference for simplicity over trendy frameworks, as we do not use React, Vue, or NextJS.
- The ability to work autonomously and solve complex problems without needing detailed instructions.
