Frontend Engineer at GetGround

The role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position where you will work within one of our four cross-functional tech squads. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to build intuitive, high-quality interfaces that delight our users. Whether you are based in London or working from another hub, you will be part of an engineering culture led by our VP of Engineering, who previously served as an Engineering Director at Meta.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of our user-facing and internal web frontend applications, which are currently built using React and Redux.
• Collaborate effectively with our backend engineers, who utilize Golang, to ensure seamless integration between user-facing features and server-side logic.
• Design and maintain clean, thorough documentation while building reusable code and libraries to improve our long-term development efficiency.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years of professional experience as a frontend or full-stack engineer. We value technical rigor and a challenger mindset, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable with the following:

• Strong proficiency in ES6, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• A solid foundation in unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document technical ideas clearly and concisely.
