Frontend Engineer at LeanIX

The role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Frontend Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Bonn, Germany, this position operates under a hybrid model, requiring you to work from our office multiple times per week while offering the flexibility to work remotely as needed. In this role, you will act as an individual contributor who takes ownership of technical components and product capabilities, working within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality user experiences for our data-heavy reporting tools.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using micro frontend architecture with Angular.
• Collaborate on the evolution of our reporting tools and improve the underlying frontend architecture, codebases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Take ownership of specific product topics and contribute your own ideas to enhance our daily workflows and overall product vision.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong customer-centric mindset and a passion for shipping high-quality code. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of professional experience in software engineering or a Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Angular or the willingness to learn it quickly if you have experience with similar modern web frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript, NgRX, and Jest.
• Familiarity with modern backend and infrastructure technologies, including Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and GraphQL.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
