Are you ready to help us transform the way businesses connect with their customers? At Trengo, we are building an AI-powered customer engagement platform that replaces repetitive tasks with meaningful conversations. As one of the four official WhatsApp Business Solutions Providers in the Netherlands and backed by a 36 million dollar Series A investment, we are scaling rapidly and looking for passionate people to join our journey.
What you bring
We are seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to join our automation team on a full-time basis. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in the Netherlands, focusing on building our latest AI products. Your daily work will involve using technologies like Vue, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, GitHub Actions, NPM, and Webpack, while collaborating with a backend built on PHP and Laravel.
- Develop and architect new features by working closely with product managers and designers to solve customer problems.
- Contribute to our technical foundation by balancing the need for quick delivery with the requirement for long-term, scalable code.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to transform design concepts into pixel-perfect, high-quality frontend components.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a resourceful engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment. You should have experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework, with Vue being a significant advantage. We value individuals who can work independently, stand behind their technical decisions, and bring an inclusive, collaborative mindset to the team. You should be comfortable translating complex designs into functional code and eager to share knowledge with your peers to help the entire team grow.
What we offer
We believe in fostering a supportive environment where your career can evolve alongside our growth. We provide a range of benefits designed to support your professional development and personal well-being.
- Flexible working arrangements, including a hybrid office model and the ability to work from abroad for 60 days per year.
- 28 days of paid time off to ensure you have plenty of time to rest and recharge.
- A dedicated education budget, extra training funds, and additional time off for courses or conferences.
- Access to mental health support through on-demand sessions with psychologists.
- Monthly internet and phone allowances, along with travel expense reimbursement for your time in our Utrecht office.
- Delicious, freshly prepared warm lunches provided by our in-house chef when working on-site.
