Front End Software Engineering Intern at Tamr

We are looking for a motivated student to join our core engineering team in the heart of Harvard Square, where you will work alongside a talented group of 40 professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you bring

As a Front End Software Engineering Intern, you will be treated as a full member of our team, working in small groups of four or five people. You will be expected to contribute meaningfully to our projects while receiving mentorship from a dedicated manager and tech lead. This internship is an on-site role based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing, breaking down, and taking full ownership of development stories for every sprint.
• Writing high-quality code that meets the same professional standards as our full-time engineers.
• Collaborating with your team to deliver features using modern web technologies.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. You must be available for the duration of the internship from July 2025 to December 2025 and reside locally in the Boston or Cambridge area, as we are unable to provide relocation assistance. You should possess a strong command of English and demonstrate technical proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Git. Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library is highly valued, as is familiarity with high-level programming languages such as Java. We look for individuals who are eager to learn, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and ready to take on significant responsibility.
