At Tamr, we are building an AI-native Master Data Management platform that helps large enterprises unify their complex data ecosystems. Our mission is to help companies discover, enrich, and maintain clean, trusted records that drive better decision-making and operational efficiency. Founded by industry veterans Andy Palmer and Mike Stonebraker, and supported by investors like Google Ventures and NEA, we are transforming how organizations derive value from their information. We operate out of Harvard Square in Cambridge, where our team of 40 professionals fosters a collaborative and supportive environment for serious technical work.

Core responsibilities
- Design, break down, and take full ownership of stories during each sprint.
- Contribute meaningful code that meets the same high quality and performance standards as our full-time engineering staff.
- Collaborate closely within a small team of four to five people while receiving mentorship from a dedicated manager and technical guidance from a lead engineer.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and familiarity with the following areas:
- JavaScript: Proficiency in modern ES6+ features and functional programming concepts.
- React: Experience with components, hooks, state management, and the virtual DOM.
- Web Fundamentals: Solid skills in HTML and CSS for building and styling web interfaces.
- Testing: Familiarity with frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

We are committed to equal employment opportunities for all applicants regardless of background, in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
