Aera Technology is a leader in Decision Intelligence, providing an AI-driven platform that helps global brands automate and scale complex decision-making processes. We are a venture-backed, growing company of over 400 professionals, and we are looking for a Front End Lead to join our engineering team in Romania. This is a full-time, hybrid role where you will help build our cutting-edge enterprise cloud platform in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and components within our web application.
- Develop reusable code and libraries to support future development.
- Partner with product managers and designers to translate requirements into feasible technical solutions.
- Optimize our platform to ensure maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
- Research emerging JavaScript frameworks and lead proof-of-concept projects to modernize our existing architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations.
- Write and execute unit tests while contributing to our test automation efforts.
- Engage in regular design and code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Must-haves
- Extensive experience as a UI developer with a strong portfolio of delivered software.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, HTML5, and object-oriented JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as ReactJS.
- Technical expertise in NodeJS, Webpack, and TypeScript.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Ability to create responsive user interfaces and implement complex widgets.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience working with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture.
