Front-end Headless Engineer at Craftzing

We are currently looking for a Senior Front-end Headless Engineer to join our team and help us build high-impact, performant digital experiences.

What you bring

In this full-time role, you will work within a dedicated team that has spent the last decade delivering exceptional web solutions for notable clients like VRT, Play Media, and UZ Leuven. Based in Belgium, you will operate in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with meaningful face-to-face collaboration. Your core responsibilities include:

• Architecting and developing modern, performant web applications using an API-first headless approach.
• Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to translate creative visions into accessible and visually appealing interfaces.
• Ensuring high standards of code quality by implementing best practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, and thorough documentation.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of professional experience. You should be fluent in English and possess a strong technical foundation in Node.js, GraphQL, Docker, ES6, HTML5, CSS3, Next.js, React, and Vue. The ideal team member is someone who thinks beyond basic performance metrics to prioritize accessibility and SEO. We value individuals who are comfortable with TypeScript, experienced with Git, and eager to maintain a high level of technical craftsmanship.
